Shacks is a barrelhouse of emotion spawning from an 18 month session with Ben Easley (Leon Russell Records) in Nashville, TN. The 8 song Shacks LP is a collection of material Lefty developed during his staying in the Colorado mountains in the mid 2000's. The emphasis and concept of this collection is the story of a broken heart fighting a mended soul swimming in whisky and circumstance. "I have been literally obsessed" Lefty admits, "with this collection of songs, they have been haunting me for the past handful of years".
